The Mont invites guests to an evening of French wine & culinary reverie on Thursday, November 20, at 6:30 p.m., featuring a five-course tasting menu by Chef Michael Duff, paired with exquisite French wines presented by Dan Miller of Republic National Distributing Company.
From Champagne to Bordeaux, this intimate soirée reimagines the soul of French cuisine through the lens of The Mont. Each course celebrates regional flavor, refined technique, and timeless indulgence — a culinary journey designed for the discerning palate. Seating is limited, and tickets are $183 per guest.
The evening begins with an amuse-bouche: Pavé of Celeriac with crème fraîche, dill, and smoked caviar, paired with Telmont Brut Réserve, Champagne, France.
The five-course tasting unfolds as follows:
- First Course: Cured Lemon Sole with seaweed-apple “broth,” puffed grains, and parsley oil, paired with Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris 2021.
- Second Course: Pork Belly with cèpes, roasted pear, and baby cabbage, paired with Domaine Matrot Auxey-Duresses 2018.
- Third Course: Beet Risotto with seared foie gras, golden beet aigre-doux, and petite greens, paired with Clau de Nell Anjou Rouge 2022.
- Fourth Course: Pigeon Rôti with lentils à la française, sauce salmis, and anchovy crumb, paired with Domaine de Beaurenard Les Argiles Bleues, Rasteau 2019.
- Fifth Course: Dark Milk Chocolate Marquise with bay leaf meringue, apricot sorbet, and girolle caramel, paired with Château de La Tour Blanche Sauternes 2018.
