Frisco’s PGA District announces July Events

North Texas’ premier entertainment hub, the Monument Realty PGA District, has a full schedule of fun events for everyone in the family to enjoy this July at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort’s 660-acre development.

The excitement starts with a dazzling drone and fireworks show and continues through the month with energetic concerts, family-friendly movies, elevated food and drink tastings and more.

Fireworks on The Fairway

Thursday, July 4

6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

The biggest event of the year at PGA Frisco! The second annual Independence Day celebration brings high-energy musical entertainment and family fun to the PGA District. Grab a bite to eat from a local food truck or a PGA Frisco restaurant and test your talents at the carnival before experiencing a dazzling celebration in the sky featuring drones and a fireworks show.

The event is complimentary to attend, but guests must reserve admission tickets in advance. Once tickets are claimed, guests can get admission to Fireworks on The Fairway by booking a hotel package.

80’s Mix Tape Concert

Friday, July 5, 2024

7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Step into a time machine and travel back to the most iconic decade of music! Get ready for a totally tubular evening with 80’s Mix Tape, the ultimate band that brings the most popular 80’s hits to life. Dress up in your raddest 80’s attire – think neon colors, big hair, and shoulder pads – and get ready to party like it’s 1985! Outside food and drinks are not permitted, nor are lawn chairs.

Summer Movie Series

Saturday, July 6 and Fridays, July 12, 19 and 26

8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Gather your friends and family and cozy up on a blanket to watch your favorite flicks on the 900+ sq. ft. video wall. The movie will start at 8 p.m., weather permitting. PGA District restaurants will be open, serving your favorite foods, and concession snacks will be available to purchase from roaming beverage carts. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, nor are lawn chairs.

ESCAPE: A Tribute to Journey Concert

Saturday, July 13

Sing along to your favorite songs from Journey, performed by North Texas’ longest-running Journey tribute band! Grab a bite to eat from Ice House, Lounge by Top Golf or Ryder Cup Grille before or after the show. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, nor are lawn chairs.

National Ice Cream Day

Sunday, July 21

11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Margaret’s Cones & Cups! The first 100 guests will receive 25% off a single scoop of their choice. Kids are encouraged to show off their artistic talents in the “Color A Cone” contest – a coloring station will be set up on the patio for kids ages 12 and younger to design their own ice cream cones and name their creations. The top three “Color A Cone” entries will be voted on for a chance to win complimentary bay play at Lounge by Topgolf!

Tequila & Tacos: Sponsored by Casamigos

Wednesday, July 24

6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Head to the Monument Realty PGA District for a National Tequila Day celebration to remember. Enjoy a walk-around tequila tasting with 10 stations each sampling specialty Casamigos cocktails. Enhance your experience by adding a taco plate to pair with your tequila.
