MilkShake Factory, the neighborhood dessert destination known for its handspun milkshakes and small-batch, premium chocolates, is bringing its signature handcrafted desserts to North Dallas with the opening of its new Preston Valley location.
The new store, located at 12835 Preston Road, Suite 215 in the shopping center anchored by the iconic Dougherty’s Pharmacy, will officially open on Saturday, July 11.
To celebrate, the Preston Valley MilkShake Factory will host a grand opening event July 11 from 12PM to 4 PM, featuring a buy one, get one free offer on shakes, sundaes, and molten cups, free MilkShake Factory T-shirts for the first 100 customers, a gift basket for the first guest in line, a DJ to kick off the celebration, and plenty of festive energy throughout the afternoon.
The Preston Valley MilkShake Factory is owned and operated by franchise partner Dylan Chatterjee, who is opening his first store with the brand.
Chatterjee first discovered MilkShake Factory in 2024 and was immediately drawn to the brand’s strong family history, commitment to quality and century-long tradition of crafting premium chocolates and desserts. “Milkshakes are as classic as it gets, and these are the best shakes I’ve ever had,” said Dylan Chatterjee, franchise partner of MilkShake Factory Preston Valley.
The Preston Valley location brings MilkShake Factory to one of North Dallas’ most established retail corridors. Surrounded by neighborhoods, schools, shopping destinations and dining destinations, the area offers a natural gathering place for families, students and dessert lovers alike.
The neighborhood is also experiencing renewed excitement, with continued development throughout the area and recent plans announced for the Dallas Mavericks’ future move nearby. For Chatterjee, Preston Valley offered the ideal combination of strong community roots and long-term growth potential.

Every item is made with MilkShake Factory’s signature ice cream, created fresh in-store daily using the Edwards family’s exclusive recipe.
