STAGE WEST: WINE AND WATERCOLOR

STAGE WEST PRESENTS FIRST TUESDAY: WINE AND WATERCOLOR

(Fort Worth, Texas)  Stage West continues its First Tuesdays events on Tuesday, August 2 with

Make and Take: Watercolor Pencil Greeting Cards. It will start at 6pm, and will last

approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are $20 each. Stage West’s season ticket holders receive a

variety of discounts for the program.

OPENING ACT: From 6:00 to 6:30, guests may enjoy a complimentary drink and some bar

snacks while visiting. 

MAIN EVENT: At 6:30, watercolor artist Kat Dennis will teach patrons a super easy painting

technique that will allow them to quickly create a work of art. She explains, “I use this technique

to create silly personalized greeting cards as well as framed art! You don't have to be a skilled

artist. This secret technique will allow you to impress your friends and loved ones, and maybe a

few enemies! Have something in mind that you'd like to make? Bring your own references! I will

have a few fun ideas but you are welcome to bring your own! The sky's the limit. Well, actually,

time is the limit but you know what I mean. You will leave with a new work that YOU created and

a minimal starter pack to apply my super secret technique to on your own. I hope you will join

me for an evening of wine and watercolor!

KAT DENNIS: Kat is a multi-medium artist from Chicago who loves to drink wine. With a passion

for dance since birth (year unknown), her favorite thing to paint is the breath, the movement of

dance. Kat moved to DFW last year with her awesome husband, Conor, who is her biggest fan.

In one form or another, art is the influence in everything that they do.
